When he entered Morehead High School each morning, Isaac B. wore an infectious smile. He greeted everyone he knew joyously, asking how they were doing and about their day thus far. For teachers, Isaac’s positive attitude was energizing, providing the positivity to sustain them during a tough day. He is one of Morehead’s shining lights.
Isaac describes his mother and sister, Hannah, as being “helpful” in his life. In between assisting him with school work, they often sit by his side to watch “Thomas and Friends.”
At school, Isaac’s favorite subject is math, especially when it involves counting money. He also loves cooking; his favorite meal to prepare is breakfast. When asked about his favorite teacher, Isaac smiles and immediately remarks, “Ms. Golden!”
Isaac continues to work hard as he completes his senior year remotely. He most misses spending time with his friends in the cafeteria. Isaac is incredibly grateful for his mother and sister’s support, and looks forward to graduating in June.
